Softball!

I'm going off to softball practice today but I am worried because it has rained two inches in the last 24 hours. Nothing is worse than pools of standing water on the softball field. My other website is down because I forgot to pay the domain bill. Oops! So my podcasts will be offline for a couple of days. I will try to transfer them but until I fix the problem I will not be making a new podcast for a while. Next week I move to D.C. so look forward to some D.C. podcasts and I will talk about my new kick-ass cell phone. Woo-hoo! Gotta go, have a good day.

Happy Easter

Hello and happy Easter to everyone. Easter is a strange holiday for Christians in my opinion. We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and color eggs and tell children that a huge bunny took them and hid them around the yard. How did that happen? Well, I enjoyed the holiday, no matter how strange, when I was a kid. The best part of Easter Sunday for me was all the candy I got that morning. A traditional Easter basket would be in my room when I woke up and it would be full of plastic green and pink grass, with lots of different candies. おいしかったです！　Man that was good! Now that I am older and I have no family I don't get an Easter basket. Maybe I will go to the store tomorrow and buy some Easter candy on sale! My favorite Easter candy is the Cadbury Egg. Long Work Week

Man has it been a long work week. And I only worked four days! Where I work we have slow times and fast times. I am in the middle of a fast time. On top of that I have been getting ready to move to D.C. on May 1st. That will take a lot of time as well. On top of all THAT I have a friend from Japan who is staying over this week and I have been trying to clean the whole apartment and make it suitable for visitors. So much work, so little time to podcast. I will try to make a podcast this Sunday, which is Easter Sunday. Unless I collapse and sleep for 24 hours!

Long Time No Blog

It has been a while since I have had time to update my blog. This week I found a new apartment which I will move into on May 1st. I look forward to the move in date, but now I have a lot of cleaning and packing to do. The Cherry Blossom Festival is this weekend and I will be there from 05:30-21:00 I think. Wow! I know I'll be tired. But Sunday my friend from Yokohama is coming to visit for a couple of days. I still need to clean my apartment and wash my guest sheets! Too much work, too little time.

On a positive note, I just ordered my new cell phone and will be able to talk about that more later. Here are some pictures of an apartment that I talked about in my last podcast. Enjoy!
