Saffle Says --- Lessons for English Learners

Here you can find out all the information you need about the Michael's ESL podcast and blog. Post questions and comments as you wish. I value listener and reader comments so don't be shy! The questions you ask me more than likely will be questions others want to know the answers to!

Oh My God! A new GEC Podcast is here!

It was a dark stormy night and I sit in my room and type a new entry to my GEC blog. Hello friends, just enjoying the free time I've had all weekend and thought I would make a new podcast. This is a longer one than in the past, so please enjoy. How many people would enjoy more than just the English tips? I was thinking about making the podcast more fun and enjoyable but what would I add? Music? Games? Contests? Send me an email at genkienglishclub@gmail.com and let me know what you think. Have a good night and I hope you are staying cool this summer.

I don't think people of different religions say anything other than "Oh my God!" because the term has no religious meaning. It is just something we say and not really think about it. I've heard a Jewish person scream "Jesus Christ!" before. Only really religious people get angry when you say these things but most people don't even think about it. That said, if a child would say this they would get punished or rebuked because it is still considered something rude to say. Are there words that Japanese kids are not allowed to speak?
