Here you can find out all the information you need about the Michael's ESL podcast and blog. Post questions and comments as you wish. I value listener and reader comments so don't be shy! The questions you ask me more than likely will be questions others want to know the answers to!

UK vs. US English

Today's podcast is all about US vs. UK English. I always have fun talking to my friend Richard in the UK. He loved to tell me that UK English is always correct because they invented the language. Here is the website I got my information from for the podcast.

The song for today's podcast can be found for free at Weird Al Yankovic's MySpace website, " Next podcast I will have a new singer but Weird Al is my favorite so I love helping him promote the album in any little way I can.

OK, I will talk to you guys later. Have a great day and go get yourself a cookie (or a biscuit!) and enjoy!

I know the word salaryman very well. When I still lived in Baltimore it took me 90 minutes each way to work and back. That was 15 hours a week I was commuting! Egad! I would tell people that I was training to be a salaryman for when I move back to Japan someday.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Japanese-English words" so please give me an example. Thank you and I will talk to you again soon!
